We’re featuring updates available starting today with Cortana, your own productivity helper in Microsoft 365, to make it a lot easier to find back time on your hectic schedule and focus on what matters.
Stay on course with Cortana in Windows 10–To help you save time finding what you need and keep focused, we are releasing a brand new chat-based Cortana expertise in Windows 10 centered on enhancing your productivity. With this, you can ask Cortana using natural language to rapidly check your program, join with people, set reminders, or include tasks in Microsoft To Do. Simply type or click the microphone button and talk commands like”Can I free in 9?” ,”Find time with Nestor to discuss the funding,””Connect my assembly,””Remind me to review expenditures each Friday at 3 PM,” and much more. This productivity concentrated experience is currently available in English for customers in the USA using the Windows 10 May 2020 upgrade. In the forthcoming months, with frequent program updates through the Microsoft Store, we will enhance this experience to support wake word invocation and empower listening when you say”Cortana,” offer more productivity capabilities such as surfacing relevant emails and documents to assist you prepare for meetings, and also expand supported capacities for international users.
Stay organized and linked to Play My Emails–To help you manage your time and tasks while listening to new mails and changes to your daily life, we’re rolling out updates to the Play My Emails expertise in Outlook for iOS. You will now be able to ask Cortana to schedule a meeting in answer to an email and put in an email to your own tasks list, which makes it much easier to get things done while you are away from your PC. We also have introduced voice commands and touch targets for sending answers to meeting invitations as well as an option to quickly join an active online assembly or send an”I’m running ” message to the participants. These new task and time management upgrades are now generally available for customers in the United States with Play My Emails in Outlook to get iOS. And, we are excited to confirm Play My Emails will begin to roll out in Outlook for Android in the forthcoming weeks.
Start your day on track with the Briefing email–To help you be well prepared for upcoming meetings and remain on top of obligations, we’re introducing the newest Briefing email from Cortana. This personalized brief will appear automatically in your Outlook inbox close to the beginning of your workday, providing intelligent, actionable recommendations of files that you review ahead of this day’s meetings and drawing your attention to pending orders or responsibilities from previous emails which you may want to follow up on. This email will also make it simple for you to book”attention time” during your workday for uninterrupted concentrated use Microsoft Teams notifications silenced.
